Knee pain from past many year.
Dear Sir, My mother is facing knee pain, which ever doctor we consult they suggested calcium tablets and pain killers but last time a doctor from Jallapa hospital suggested for injection based on bone density. And he also told this injection is new in the market and so effective. Please suggest if I can go ahead with treatment. Thanks in Advance.

If your mother has arthritis, then I injections based on bone density will not help. Please mention the name of the injection to advice better. If she has arthritis, then an x-ray of the knee will be useful to know how bad is the arthritis. If the knee is worm out, then she may need joint replacement. Hope this helps.
