Too much of anything is harmful likewise with protein supplements.
A person with normal functioning kidneys can consume 1-1.5g/kg body weight of protein per day. And one must try to achieve this with natural diet and those who fall short may take a scoop of good quality whey.
Beyond this we don’t have long term studies to see the effects of supplements on health.
If you have kidney disease please consult your doctor regarding supplements.

No..there is no supplement which is proven to protect kidneys
Pls check ur creatinine every 3 months
If it is more than 1.2, would suggest to cut down protein intake
