Itchy throat and cough

Asked for Female, 49 Years

My mom had a kind of allergic cough from past few months. She was under Ayurvedic treatment and it has gone completely. After a month again the same kind of cough started now. She have itchy throat and dry cough, once cough starts then will be for another 2 or 3 mins. Please suggest what will be the permanent solution for this?

Your mother seems to be suffering from allergic airway disorder which may require long term treatment with anti Histamine medicines and steroid bronchodialator inhalers for long term benefits. This condition will aggravate during particular season and obviously it is not ayurvedic medicines which have worked.
