Hello doctor, I’ve had a persistent cough for about 3 months now.
I’ve done a chest X-ray and sputum test, and both came back normal.
My symptoms include:
- Chest pain when I cough
- White mucus
- Throat pain (recent)
- Strange ear discomfort (feels like scratching or pressure before coughing)
The medications I was given (Cefadroxil and cough syrup) haven’t solved it.
Please could this be postnasal drip, asthma, or something else? What tests or treatment would you recommend?
