Issue with sleep
I sleep a lot... I go to deep sleep within seconds after hitting the bed... getting up in the morning is a challenge... I don't get disturbed with any sounds once I sleep... I have a month old kid now and I want to be active or attentive during sleep... how can I control my sleep, how can I get up for small sounds, how can I stop myself to get into deep sleep... please help

Hello. A good sleep is most essential and necessary to have a stable mindset. Deep sleep is a stage of sleep which is most required. As you are trying to wake up in between, it is important to make sure that you get right amount of sleep at the same time. In order to wake up at a particular time, you can seek external help by using alarms and even the help of your spouse. Keep frequent alarms intervals between 10-15mins. You can ask your partner to wake you up at a particular time that you would like to wake up. Once you are slightly awake, stretch and drink a glass of water immediately. This will activate your brain cells and help you to wake up.

Hi sir Thanks for seeking help here. Well you want to get up if baby cries right ....you want to do this for your baby. Well there are medication to prevent excessive sleep and keep you alert . But that's not needed .. Conditioning will help you than medication. Like keeping alarm near to your pillow... anytime you like...you can keep it 3 hrly or 2 hrly as per the baby cry and check on the baby then go to sleep. After few days your mind will be trained. Medication are stimulant which you will get after details evaluation ... Happy to help you.

Sound sleep is a sign of healthy body and mind. There is nothing by which u can b stopped into going deep sleep.
