Dear Patient, If you have completed all 5 doses of anti-rabies vaccine properly as per schedule, you are considered protected. Even if the cat was rabid, completing the full vaccination course provides very high protection. No need to panic. Seek medical help only if: • You missed any dose • You are immunocompromised • You did not receive Rabies Immunoglobulin (if it was a Category 3 bite) Otherwise, you are safe.
