If you have taken all 5 doses of anti-rabies vaccine properly and on schedule, then:
Next Steps
Ask yourself: ✔ Was the wound washed with soap and water for 15 minutes? ✔ Were all 5 doses taken on time? ✔ Was RIG given if it was a deep bite and you were not previously vaccinated? If yes to the above → You are safe. No further doses are needed. However, if: • Doses were missed • Given incorrectly • Or RIG was required but not given Then review is needed.
Health Tips
✔ Do not panic — vaccine completion is highly protective ✔ Do not repeat unnecessary doses ✔ Keep vaccination records safe ✔ Avoid overthinking symptoms (anxiety can mimic illness) If you want complete reassurance, tell me: • When the bite happened • When vaccine was started • Whether RIG was given • Where injections were given I can confirm clearly whether you are 100% covered. If you prefer structured reassurance with timeline calculation, booking an online consultation will help finalize everything confidently and relieve your worry completely.

Dear Patient, If you have completed all 5 doses of anti-rabies vaccine properly as per schedule, you are considered protected. Even if the cat was rabid, completing the full vaccination course provides very high protection. No need to panic. Seek medical help only if: • You missed any dose • You are immunocompromised • You did not receive Rabies Immunoglobulin (if it was a Category 3 bite) Otherwise, you are safe. Still confused you can text me anytime
