Hi, i had 2 times ear MRM surgery in post 20years, I have taken CT temporal bone scan,now results shows as Dehiscence of lateral semicricular canala, but doctor suggested me to do MRM cavity obliteration and tymponoplasty surgery, how this will link to CT scan report and why they suggested this Operation??

Your CT reports are suggestive of lateral semicircular canal fistula which needs to be closed as that seems to be cause for your imbalance. Along with cavity obliteration closure of fistula also needs to be done
