If the thyroid levels are coming back as borderline everytime. Maybe it has something to do with the mood swings. It has been seen that because of fluctuating mood the eating patterns and weight also varies a lot. Also therapeutically sometimes for even borderline thyroid levels, we start thyroxine in low dose for the mood fluctuations. Every body is different and every mind is different. Along with thyroid checkup, do get a psychiatric assessment to understand whether stress and mood are not at the core of the problem. I provide online consultation and therapy support, contact me directly on nine eight two six five four five six six zero.

Consult Endocrinologist / Internal Medicine specialist. This looks like possible subclinical hypothyroidism. Do TSH, Free T4, Anti-TPO antibody and review clinically. If symptoms persist, doctor may consider Tab Thyronorm 25 mcg once daily after evaluation. Do not wait too long for review. Dr Utkarsh Shrivastava You may connect with me for detailed evaluation and guidance as i am Internal medicine specialist

Your results suggest possible mild Hypothyroidism (“subclinical”) rather than definite overt disease, and they do justify a proper medical review rather than just waiting.
Next Steps

Please consult a General Physician first. On the face of it you could have Hypothyroidism but Hypothyroidism doesn't cause weight loss. Weight loss is a serious matter in its own right. In other words please don't rely on Tele-consultation. Go to a General Physician. He will decide if you need any further Consultations.
