My father who is 74 now who in his recent ultrasound reported a grossly enlarged prostate 97 gms and has an evidence of small irregular hypoechoic lesion in the left lateral prostatic parenchyma measuring 13mm
Also the psa total report is 21.26 ng/gm
Ultrasound report also mentions grade 3 prostatomegaly

He shall require prostate biopsy to rule out cancer.
He also requires serum creatinine, urine routine, uroflowmetry and post void residual urine estimation by ultrasound.
Final treatment (surgical/medical) depends on reports of investigations.
