Hi, I'm 21 years old male. My haemoglobin is around 19.I don't smoke and I exercise regularly. My diet is also clean. I visited doctor and he told me to do JAK 2 Mutation test and erythropoietin level test. He also prescribed me to take aspirin 75mg daily once for a month. They will also conduct phlebotomy after EPO level, 250-300 ml on alternate days. Is this something serious?

Please get your CBC done. It should also include peripheral smear examination. If some abnormality you will need bone marrow examination.
If everything is fine you should become a blood donor, donating blood once in two months.
