Hair Thinning and Skin multiplication
Hello Doctor, Currently i am undergoing hair thinning treatment with tablet androanagen and alpecin caffeine liquid. Also, at the back areas of both my ears, i am developing huge dryness which leads to scaling, flaking and itching and it looks very very bad. It also leaves a white mark which does not go with any moisturiser. My current doctor says that it is rapid skin multiplication because of the oil glands present behind ears. This problem is more in winters and little bit less in summers. I am advised to use shampoo Arcolane and Scalpe which has Ketoconazole to reduce the skin multiplication. However, my current doctor has adviced NOT TO USE moisturiser in the affected area as it might further increase the skin multiplication. Is it so?? Wanted your guidance on the same as this is a huge pain point for me. Thank you in advance.
