Constipation is a known side effect of Golbi 300 (UDCA), and it can become troublesome especially when the dose is increased. Since your reports weren't severely abnormal, it's worth discussing with your doctor whether the current dose is truly necessary or if there's a lower dose that balances benefit without the side effects.
Next Steps
Continue with ispaghula and the laxative as prescribed, and follow up with your doctor to reassess the need for the current dose. Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation.
