Forehead and neck sweating at night.
Since last 5 days i have sweating on my forehead, head and neck only ( my neck feels cold) and not whole body, while sleeping at night. It is not drenching or soaking but damp and sweaty. One night it didn't happen out of 5 nights. It only happens between 1 am to 5 am, and then when i wake up around 4-5 am and then sleep it doesn't happen at all. What could this be as it is not typical drenching night sweats but only forehead, head and neck. I also had sore throat, runny nose and little cough with phlegm week prior before sweating began.

Night sweats can be due to any infection, stress or cardiac problem. Since you had upper respiratory tract infection before sweats started, it should be o.k., once the infection clears. Get cbp with esr, blood sugar, done and share details of your symptoms,  meds taken and results , then I can help you.

Please seek a proper consultation with a General Physician in your area. Your description is too confusing. A proper conversation sitting across the table will be better.

It’s better to get your Thyroid profile done. Runny nose and sore throat may not be associated with it
