For weakness
I was talking shelcal tablet till Jan 20 as i was feeding my child. Last year, for some skin problem doctor recommended me iron tablets to be taken for 3 months. When I was taking these medicines, I never felt any problems. After stopping shelcal, I noticed that I m very often feeling weakness and pain in legs at night. So i started taking shelcal tablet whenever I felt weakness and pain in legs, without consulting any doctor. Sometimes I take it once or twice in a week. But I m feeling worried that I may be doing wrong by taking calcium or iron tablets without recommendations. My question to the doctor is, is it ok to keep on taking calcium and iron tablets once or twice in a week?? Or it will harm me in long run?

Calcium and iron tablets can't relieve the pain. Do consult for further evaluation of weakness and pain in legs

Nothing to worry about. Just keep watching symptoms of over dose. Like specially constipation or any skin allergies. Or else u can continue to take. And please Do a simple test. Like CBP AND S. CALCIUM
