Fever with confusing symptoms

Asked for Male, 29 Years

I have been suffering from fever for the past 3 days . The fever has been mostly in between 100to 101 with max 102 yesterday. On the first day it was accompanied by severe joint ache which disappeared on the second day. Now the fever remains at 101 but since yesterday there is no significant joint pain. Just headache and pain in eyes muscles. No running nose or coughing. I have exams and live alone so travelling to a doctor would be really tough. Plz help

Hi, Your symptoms are suggestive of viral fever. It usually persists for 3-5 days. You should take plenty of oral fluids, Tab Paracetamol 500mg thrice daily. Investigations : complete blood count, Dengue NS1 antigen and malaria antigen test. Best wishes.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. As of now you can take a tab. Paracetamol 650mg thrice a day after food for 2 days. Drink plenty of fluids. . Take rest. .have a soft diet.
