I would advise you to start with an antihistamine and an antipyretic(Prescription can be given by direct consultation). The following care should be taken to improve your condition:
- Steam inhalation (Plain) thrice a day until symptoms improve
- Salt water gargling with lukewarm water thrice a day until symptoms improve
- Avoid cold food and water
- Have a liquid diet at present for 2 days until solid food can be tolerated by you
If problems persist or worsen visit the nearest ER
Avoid exposure to cold.
Oral fluids in plenty: 6-8Litres/day.
Tab. Augmentin 625mg twice a day after food for 5 days.
Tab. Sinarest three times a day after food for 5 days
Tab. Pantop 40mg once before breakfast for 5 days.
Tab. Dolo 650mg now and SOS (if required).
Caution: Ensure that there is atleast 4hours gap between two doses of Dolo.
Consult your primary, if your symptoms don't improve in 3 doses.
Thanks and regards.
