Its a trapezius spasm. This could have happen because of you sitting in forward head position for a prolonged period of time or maybe you keeping your neck in an abnormal position while sleeping due to excessive pillow height or maybe some other cause.
Next Steps
consult a physiotherapist around you.
Health Tips
consider taking hot packs at home and some stretching exs along with maintenance of good posture.

It seems to me to be trapezius or para spinal muscle spasm. Your work posture may contribute to this especially if you are working on the computer for long hours. Consult a physiotherapist. Don't worry because a few exercises will sort this issue.Apply hot pack over it and try to use only one thin pillow while sleeping at night.
Next Steps
Consult a physiotherapist
Health Tips
Although machines like IFT ,us may give you temporary relief, please do exercises to strengthen the right muscles and correct posture or the condition will recur
