Sounds like Eczema of the skin. Moisturiser like E45 normally helps. Use Cetrizine to help with itching. Hydration is very very important. If not settling then use Betnovate 0.1% cream daily for 5 days only. (Don’t use Betnovate mixed with antibiotics). All the best. J G S R clinic

An itchy skin for 10 days with body fatigue and a “hot” feeling, along with a WBC count of 11,500, most commonly suggests an ongoing inflammatory or allergic process in the body. This level is a mild leukocytosis, not dangerously high. The common causes in this context include: • Allergic reaction (food, medicine, detergent, dust, mites) • Skin infection or parasitic infestation (including scabies) • Viral or mild bacterial infection • Liver-related causes (itching without rash can occur with liver enzyme changes) • Stress-related immune activation, especially if sleep is poor By itself, a WBC of 11,500 is not alarming, but combined with itching and fatigue, it does need clinical correlation.
Next Steps
1. Review the CBC differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils) — very important • High eosinophils → allergy / parasitic cause • High neutrophils → bacterial infection or inflammation 2. If itching is significant or generalized, get: • Liver function tests (LFTs) • ESR / CRP 3. Avoid self-medicating with antibiotics or steroids without guidance 4. If itching persists beyond 2 weeks, a dermatology or physician consultation is advised
Health Tips
• Avoid hot showers; use lukewarm water only • Use mild, fragrance-free soap and moisturize twice daily • Stay well hydrated • Avoid alcohol, outside food, and unnecessary medicines for now • An antihistamine may help, but choice depends on your full history

Your white cell count is only mildly raised and is usually seen with minor infection or allergy.
Next Steps
We should check liver, kidney and thyroid tests to rule out common causes of generalized itching.
Health Tips
Consult for further evaluation.
