I have a blocked ear after swimming on holiday after using medicine for 4 days ear started whooshing. I was prescribed otomize ear spray and olive oil drops. Is this sound a sign of my ear getting worse should I consult a doctor again?

You seem to be suffering from impacted wax inside your ear canal which might have swollen the wax causing complete ear block. If present wax needs to be removed.
