Dryness in mouth
I usually feel like dryness in my mouth even after drinking water. It causes issues while speaking and hence lowers my confidence while talking to someone. I don't know whom to reach out to for this issue. Sometimes, I really struggle to speak and it becomes kind of embarrassing. Currently, I try to speak slowly and to stretch each and every word. Help me!

Possible causes: 1. Dehydration – even if you’re drinking water, your body might not be retaining enough. 2. Stress/Anxiety – anxiety can reduce saliva flow and tighten throat muscles. 3. Mouth Breathing – especially during sleep or due to nasal blockage. 4. Vitamin Deficiencies – low B12, iron, or zinc can affect oral health. 5. Side effects of medications – like antihistamines, antidepressants, or antacids. 6. Salivary gland issues – though rare, they can cause persistent dry mouth. 7. Systemic conditions – like diabetes or thyroid disorders. Advise: 1. Blood Sugar levels 2. Thyroid profile 3. Vitamin B12, D3, Iron Keep yourself hydrated Use sugar-free chewing gum or lozenges Avoid caffeine and alcohol
