Dog bite on leg
I felt the teeth of a dog on my leg while on evening walk as the dog attacked me. I was wearing trackpant and no cut, scratches are there on leg. I had washed the area with soap for 5-7 minutes and today i took the vaccine but after 24 hrs and 10 minutes after the incident. Is it late? I am worried. Please guide

I totally understand the anxiety dog encounters are scary but you can take a deep breath. You are not too late. Rabies isn't airborne it needs a literal cut, scratch, or bite wound to enter the body. Washing with soap for several minutes is the single best thing you have done immediately. It physically breaks down the virus.
Next Steps
Just stick to the schedule the clinic gave you for the follow up shots. Even if the risk is basically zero, finishing the course gives you peace of mind and long term protection.
Health Tips
Was it a stray dog or someone's pet if you might be able to keep an eye on for a few days.
