Dengue question
I had NS1 positive in 2018 jan now in 2019 jan I had fever. I did my blood test for dengue which says igg, igm and NS1 antigens are negative. Doctor said it's not dengue. My question is in case if I had dengue in January 2018 last year wouldn't my igg shows as positive value which denotes past infection? Or was I misdiagnosed as dengue last time? I didn't do any follow up in 2018 for dengue igg or igm and also in January 2018 my platelet was more than 1 lakh. Was I misdiagnosed ?

Good that you have a lot of medical knowledge regarding antibodies. But FYI... NS1 Ag test means its just NonSpecific Antigen so you would be a suspected case of dengue thats all and for confirmation we need Elisa test. So your IgG Ab status is negative in 2019. Dont worry if you dont have any Symptoms now. Hope this explains ur query
