My dear , by mistake you have written 6 yrs , I presume that baby must be6 months . Cough is not a contraindication for giving banana . Give meshed banana to child , it’s nutritious. Banana purée , is it cooked into something ? If yes please stop it . Child doesn’t need artificial sweeteners preservatives etc , they are harmful . Please keep away from myths like banana resulting into cough etc . Keep taking proper guidance on nutrition for the growing baby.
