Hello,
Based on your symptoms â cold & fever for 2â3 days, along with rashes in the groin and around the frenulum with severe itching â there are a few important possibilities:
Likely causes:
Fungal infection (Candidiasis / Tinea cruris) â common in groin folds, worsens with sweating, causes itching and redness.
Irritant or allergic rash (from sweat, tight clothing, soap, or hygiene products).
Post-viral rash (sometimes viral fever can trigger skin eruptions).
What you should do now:
Keep the area dry and clean. Avoid tight undergarments.
Do not scratch â it can worsen infection.
Apply a mild antifungal cream (clotrimazole or luliconazole) twice daily.
Take an antihistamine (like levocetirizine) at night to reduce itching.
Avoid using steroid creams without prescription â they worsen fungal infections.
â ï¸ Since fever is also present, I would recommend getting examined once (to confirm whether it is fungal or viral rash, or something else like bacterial infection).

You seem to be having a fungal infection (commonly called jock itch / tinea cruris) which can cause itching, redness and rashes around the groin and frenulum. Fever may also occur if there is associated infection or inflammation.
Advice:
Keep the area clean and dry.
Wear loose cotton underwear and avoid tight clothing.
Apply antifungal cream (like clotrimazole or luliconazole) twice daily after washing and drying the area.
For itching, you may take an antihistamine (like levocetirizine at night).
If fever persists or rash worsens (blistering, pus, painful sores), you must get examined in person to rule out sexually transmitted or bacterial infections.
