Cold, fever, cough
Started with cold followed by fever, took peracetamol so temp is now normal but severe cough is there. Difficulty in speaking due to cough. I drink n smoke occasionally.

Hi,
there have been lots of cases of seasonal flu coming now a days. Your symptoms are suggestive of viral illness..but a detailed medical history regarding duration of illness and any other a symptoms or illness? would be helpful to find the cause and further management.
General advice would be to take plenty of fluids and take rest. Tab Paracetamol 500mg in case of fever.
