Cold and fever is due to and upper respiratory tract infection. Could be bacterial or viral. If viral antibiotics are unnecessary. In appropriate usage of antibiotics without prescription is really dangerous as it can cause unnecessary side affects, antibiotic resistance. Your husband's anxiety issue also needs to be addressed which will need proper history.  Can help you with both the conditions. Kindly please consult.
