My daughter's paededtric has prescribed cetaloz m to be taken once per day for 1 month.She has been having cough and cold twice in last 2 months.Kindly advise whether it is safe to take it for such a long duration.

Hello!! This medication is use to prevent the further allergic episode in children.
It is safe to take over a period of 15 days to one month according to child condition with few side effects.
If continue long time some serious side effects are also there but not frequently.
Your treating physician decides the duration according to severity and need.
