Vomiting and fever
MY 4 year old son had vomitings from yesterday morning anything he ate he vomitted adm developed 102 fever in the evening. We are at village and consulted normal doctor (not a pediatrian). He didnt pass urine from morning 9 to evening 5. Aftr that he ate little bit and we visited hospital. He vomitted at hospital. Doctor prescribed attached injections and cannula. There are many injections. I am very much worried, if it requires these many and antibiotic and some other injections. He told to give these for 3 days. These many are really required. Please tell me if these cannot be given to my kid.

Hello As there was fever with vomitings it is not required to start antibiotics on day two Symptomatic treatment can be given for dehydration as you said he didnot pass urine since morning- IV fluids and ondansetron for vomitings. Pantop and paracetamol.
Next Steps
Kindly stop giving PRIMACORT 100 as it is a steroid because they are not given in infections
Health Tips
Stop XONE, IVIMICIN and PRIMACORT

Your child likely became dehydrated because of repeated vomiting and poor intake, especially since urine was not passed for many hours. In such situations IV fluids and an anti-vomiting injection are commonly required.
Health Tips
The prescription does look somewhat “heavy” for uncomplicated viral vomiting unless the child appeared significantly dehydrated or toxic.
