Your reports look mostly within normal limits, and CRP is also normal, which is reassuring. With cough and cold, this may be a simple viral infection or allergy related to your asthma. Take proper rest, fluids, and continue your regular asthma medicines. Please consult me if symptoms persist so I can examine you and guide proper treatment.

Symptoms of cough with phlegm and cold for a few days are most commonly due to a viral upper respiratory infection. CBC and CRP are usually advised to check for bacterial infection or significant inflammation. If the reports show normal or mildly raised values, it usually indicates a viral illness and is not concerning. Asthma and allergic rhinitis can also worsen cough and mucus.
Next Steps
• Continue prescribed medicines. • Take steam inhalation and maintain hydration. • Use asthma medications/inhaler regularly if prescribed. • Follow up with the doctor with CBC and CRP results.
Health Tips
Seek medical attention urgently if there is high fever, breathlessness, wheezing, chest pain, or symptoms lasting more than 7–10 days, especially with a history of asthma.

Both the reports are normal. If you are using inhalers continue that. If not on inhalers, watch for wheezing Only  Tab. Levocetrizine 5mg  orally once at bedtime for 5 days should suffice.

Hello. Based on what you described, cough with phlegm and cold symptoms, especially with a history of allergic rhinitis and asthma, can commonly occur due to respiratory infection or allergy flare-ups. This condition may occur due to viral infection, allergic inflammation, or airway irritation. However, proper interpretation of CBC and CRP reports requires clinical correlation and review of the full report. In the meantime you may consider: • Adequate hydration and rest • Avoiding triggers such as dust, smoke, or cold exposure • Following prescribed asthma or allergy medications regularly Since treatment depends on the exact cause and report findings, a detailed assessment is recommended. You may consider an online consultation for proper evaluation and a personalized treatment plan.

The symptoms of cough with phlegm and cold are most likely due to viral upper respiratory infection or allergic airway irritation, especially since you already have allergic rhinitis with asthma. All of your reports are normal. CRP
Next Steps
Take tab Montec LC once daily at night before bed for 7 days Tab acebrophylline with acetylcysteine twice a day for 7 days continue your regular asthma inhalers if prescribed.
Health Tips
Do steam inhalation twice daily, drink warm fluids, and avoid cold drinks, dust exposure, and smoke, which can trigger allergic cough. If symptoms persist beyond 7–10 days, fever develops, or breathing difficulty increases, consult a doctor for further evaluation such as chest xray or spirometry.Contact me anytime on practo for further consultation

Based on the report you shared, most of your CBC parameters are within the normal range. Your hemoglobin (15.2 g/dL), RBC count (5.03 million/µL), hematocrit (44.7%), platelet count (2.44 lakh/cumm), and RBC indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC) are all normal. Your Total Leukocyte Count (10,400 cells/cumm) is at the upper end of normal, which can happen with a mild infection or inflammation, especially when you have Allergic Rhinitis and Asthma along with cough and cold symptoms. The CRP level (
Next Steps
• Continue the medications prescribed by your doctor for cough, cold, or allergy symptoms. • Maintain good hydration and consider steam inhalation to help clear phlegm. • Monitor symptoms such as persistent fever, worsening cough, breathlessness, or thick yellow/green sputum—if these occur, you should consult your doctor again. • If symptoms last more than 1–2 weeks, your doctor may reassess or adjust treatment for your asthma/allergy.
Health Tips
• Avoid dust, smoke, cold air, and allergens, which can trigger symptoms when you have asthma and allergic rhinitis. • Use your asthma inhalers regularly as prescribed if you have them. • Warm fluids, saline nasal rinses, and adequate rest can help speed recovery from upper respiratory infections. • Keep monitoring your peak asthma symptoms (wheezing, chest tightness, breathlessness). If you’d like, you can book an online consultation and share your full prescription and symptoms, and I can help you optimize your allergy/asthma management plan to prevent recurrent cough and cold episodes.
