Cause and prognosis of confusion
Male 78 years old, diabetic and hypertensive 20 years ago.on insulin treatment. Developed acute state of confusion 10 days ago ( hallucinations and delusions and sleep disturbance).. his blood pressure and glucose are controlled... all lab results are within normal range ( CBC, renal and liver function, cholesterol level, urine analysis, thyroid function, electrolytes) except ESR.. he is eating well and no memory disturbance. He takes statin and aspirin as prophylaxis for long time.

Hello..Well from when this state has started..I need to examine him to asses him better..You say the electrolytes are normal..Usually that is the main cause of such state..Please meet a physician so that we can examine him...Thank you
