Dear Doctor, In the mo tho of Feb end cat has bitten my mother and there was deep cut and doctor has suggested 5 rabies injection which she has taken and last injection was on 5th April 2020. Now again today cat has bitten my mother but cut is not that deep. Do she need to take again rabies injections.

First of all for any car bite you should not get rabies vaccine. Cat doesn't transmit rabies. It's myth. Secondly if a cat has bitten. Tab augmentin duo 625  was supposed to be given for 5 days. There is no any chance to get rabies
