I have a lump on my breast since 3 years and it is very painful. I went for a ultrasound 2 years back and I found out it is fibroadenoma bi-raids-3. They suggest me to come back after 6 months for evaluation but I didn't get time. How serious it is? What does it mean bi-raids-3.

BIRADS 3 is probably benign. It has less than 2% chance of malignancy
As per guidelines it has been recommended to get a follow-up at short intervals like 6 months with either a biopsy or imaging
So better to get it done
