Some amount of decrease in Hb is expected with pregnancy. This is due to hemodilution (blood getting diluted) due to increased total blood volume which is normal in pregnancy. There is some degree of iron deficiency also which is why you have increased Red Cell Distribution width (RDW). Just take your Ante natal care tablets which will have iron tablets included.
Next Steps
Check for serum ferritin, TIBC (total iron binding capacity) and vitamin B12 levels.
Health Tips
Monitor your CBC report every 4-8 weeks. Looks for blood loss from stool or urine or per vagina. Also look for black coloured stools. Consult your physician or gynecologist for further management.
