Bleeding piles, or internal hemorrhoids, can be triggered by certain foods due to their impact on your internal system. Here's what happens: Internal Process: Pitta Aggravation: Spicy foods, jaggery, and other heat-inducing substances increase Pitta dosha, which can inflame the rectal blood vessels, causing bleeding. Weakened Vascular Walls: Chronic swelling and irritation in the rectal veins make them fragile, leading to bleeding when triggered by diet or strain. Ama Accumulation: Undigested toxins (Ama) worsen inflammation and impair digestion, further aggravating the condition. Ayurvedic Medicines for Bleeding Piles: Arshoghni Vati: Reduces inflammation and bleeding. Dosage: 1 tablet twice daily with lukewarm water. Kankayan Vati: Helps in reducing swelling and promoting healing. Dosage: 1 tablet twice daily after meals. Abhayarishta: Aids in regular bowel movements and reduces rectal strain. Dosage: 15-20 ml with equal water after meals. Nagarjunabhra Ras: Strengthens digestion and reduces bleeding. Dosage: As prescribed by a practitioner. Dietary & Lifestyle Tips: Avoid: Spicy, sour, fried, and heat-inducing foods like jaggery and alcohol. Increase Fiber: Include fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to ease bowel movements. Sitz Bath: Soak the anal area in warm water with Triphala powder for relief. Pitta-pacifying Foods: Eat cooling foods like cucumber, coconut water, and buttermilk. For chronic cases, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for therapies like Kshar Sutra or herbal application treatments.
