Looking at the history given by you and assuming that you are unable to seek medical care due to corona virus lock down I am giving my opinion. Assuming that there is no h history of trauma or fall and your body weight is normal the cause is more like to be over election/stress/strain or in rare case osteomalacia. If only knee joints are involved then chance of it being rheumatoid arthritis are less.
Next Steps
Blood investigations that need to be done are CBC, RA, CRP, Serum vit D, serum creatinine, liver function test and  if required an X-ray of knee joints
Health Tips
You should avoid sitting cross legged for long duration, avoid floor activities and do knee exercises like static quadriceps, Active SLR and Vastus medius obliqus strengthening exercises.( You can search the internet for these exercises or contact me and I will send you the videos of these exercises) If the pain persists even after all precautions then I would suggest you to Review these reports with an orthopaedic surgeon or consult me with reports directly on Practo

Hi, Considering your age and activity level. This should not be a major cause of concern. It could be less likely OCD patella or more like due to increased strain on quadriceps or patella tendon.
Next Steps
simply exercising your quadriceps and hit fomentation can help you recover
Health Tips
for the pain you can take mild analgesics dolo 650
