Try and increase potassium and magnesium rich foods in your diet such as green vegetables, salads, bananas, coconut water, citrus fruits, pineapple, etc. If that does not help we’ll go for proper evaluation before starting on any medicines.

Muscle cramps and weakness usually happen due to imbalance of minerals, not just calcium. When calcium is high, magnesium and potassium often go low, which causes cramps, heaviness, and fatigue. Instead of jumping to medicines, try natural sources first: • Magnesium: green leafy vegetables (spinach, methi), pumpkin seeds, almonds, walnuts • Potassium: banana, coconut water, papaya, sweet potato, tomato Also: • Drink enough water • Avoid extra calcium supplements and excess dairy for now • Do light stretching, not heavy workouts If cramps or weakness persist, correct supplementation and dose should be decided after reviewing reports. Muscle cramps can occur due to electrolyte imbalance. However, a calcium level of 12 is high and should not be ignored. Potassium or magnesium supplements should not be taken blindly without evaluation. Rx: Adequate hydration Avoid calcium supplements for now Blood tests to recheck calcium, magnesium, potassium advised Kindly consult a General Physician before starting supplements. You may consult me via Practo for further guidance.
