Why K2 & Magnesium not with D3?
I’m asking with full respect and curiosity. In India, Vitamin D3 60,000 IU weekly is commonly prescribed for deficiency. But I noticed international studies and guidelines often recommend taking Vitamin K2 (MK-7) and Magnesium along with D3 as they support calcium absorption, bone health and prevent arterial calcification. Why is this combination rarely suggested in India? Is there a specific reason or guideline behind it ,for example differences in diet, research or clinical need? Also, if someone wishes to take D3 together with K2 and Magnesium, what would be the safe approach or ideal formulation available in India especially high dose weekly supplementation?

Generally serum k2 test and supplements are not recommended, unless there is a specific need like for someone taking anti clotting drugs or having bleeding from some site. Combinations are available.
