Baby is 9months old suffering with fever

Hi my baby boy 9months old is suffering with fever. we gave the medication Babygesic for him.After having the medication it is getting controlled but after sometime again the baby head is getting hot.May I know the reason for it?He is not having any cold and cough.He is doing his feeding well and playing well. Please can anyone suggest how to overcome with this? Thank you.

Usually for first two year babies head, palm and sole feel warm, that doesn’t mean fever. For fever you will have to measure temperature of your child, if it is more than 98.6 then you can call it fever, still you should avoid giving medicines till temperature is less than 100.
