My doctor prescribed me tasiron drops . 5 ml in the morning and 5 ml in the afternoon . My baby weight is 10 kgs . He is very active and has reached all his milestones but somehow doesn't take iron rich food . Should I administer such a high dosage ?

Hello there, I think there is some mistake. Tasiron drops has iron 5mg=1 ml , so tasirom drops need to be given 2 ml twice a day after food. SYP. Tasiron has iron 10 mg =. 5 ml , so tasiron syrup needs to be given 5 ml twice a day after food. Make sure you give correct dose and strength. There is confusion between drops and syrup.
