Baby holding breath
Hello doctor, my baby is 7 months old and from the past few days I'm observing that everytime I put him on his chair or playing mat to play by himself. He begins to whine or cry and holds his breath just for a second and does it multiple times until and unless I pick him up. When he is in my arms or lap then he doesn't do that. I'm worried. Is something wrong with him or he is doing just to get my attention? Plz help

Better to have a check up with your pediatrician, breath holding spells are very common but need to eliminate all other possibilities.
