B12 deficiency and no periods
I happened to take B12 injection ( till now 5 doses ) as my B12 was very low ( suggested by our family doctor). Last month had my menstrual cycle on 7th. My cycle is mostly 28 days. This month it should start by 5th. But my period didn't start yet.
I can feel cramps but my cycle didn't start.
Why is it so ?
Is it because of injection ?
Will my menstrual cycle start ?
Whom should I consult ? Please suggest.

Menstrual cycle length varies sometimes.
The normal length of a menstrual cycle is 21-35days, anywhere in between this is normal.
So you can wait for one more week, unless you are married/ sexually active , u can take a UPT test after 1 week.
Vitamin B 12 is an essential vitamin to carry out varies bodily functions. If it's very low it has to be corrected.
The two things aren't related.
Don't worry.
