I have been having anxiety attacks again for the past few months. I get really scared and distracted often. I'm not able to think properly and function everyday. Loss of appetite also followed and I feel really really depressed. I had gone through a similar phase before but never consulted anyone. I just lived with it. Now I'm having a lot of problems dealing with it and I'm not able to take it anymore. Restlessness has got the better of me and depression makes me do nothing and I feel very worthless. I'm not doing anything. Not even taking my exams nor leaving the house.

I am able to understand your current situation. You seem to be suffering from significant depressive symptoms. Sometimes depression might appear to reduce on its own in course of time, however further episodes might start occuring frequently and would be more severe, like what is happening to you now. Hence mandates earlier treatment, and it is easily manageable. I would be more than happy to help you with that. Some counselling and if needed medical help might be useful for you.

Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately.
