What you are feeling sounds like an experience of dissociation with feelings of anxiety. Dissociation is a symptom of the mind toward an anxiety provoking stimulus, where the body and mind cope by disconnecting from the rest of the surroundings and even the body itself. It sounds scary, but it is just something that occurs when we are anxious about something, and are unable to face it. It's the minds way of escaping the reality.
Next Steps
So, the solution is a simple - you need to figure out (preferably with the help of a therapist) what made you feel anxious. What was your trigger. And address that. But its ideal to do all of this with a therapist. Because they will have an idea, as to what to look for in that experience of yours that could possibly act as a trigger for you.
Health Tips
Practicing and including deep breathing and mindfulness into every day routine will help. That will help you in keeping the mind and body at a calm state. These symptoms are nothing you need to worry and panic about because a good therapist will be able to help you resolve it. But most importantly this is not a diagnosis this is just an opinion of what I think it could be based on your brief description. There is still a lot more to understand and know about your experience before a diagnosis can be given.

Health Tips
The following strategies can help: Acknowledge what is happening The symptoms of a panic or anxiety attack can be extremely frightening. Acknowledging the situation and remembering that symptoms will soon pass can reduce anxiety and fear. Breathe slowly and deeply Difficulty breathing is among the most common and alarming symptoms of these types of attack. To slow breathing down, focus the attention on the breath. Inhale and exhale at a slow and steady rate until symptoms subside. Count to four during each inhalation and exhalation. Try relaxation techniques Methods of relaxation, such as progressive muscle relaxation and guided imagery, can reduce feelings of panic and anxiety. A person can learn these techniques online or by working with a qualified therapist. Practice mindfulness Mindfulness helps people to stay grounded in the present moment. It can be especially beneficial for people with anxiety, who tend to worry about perceived and potential stressors. Practice mindfulness by actively noticing thoughts, emotions, and sensations without judging or reacting to them. Mental health professional can tailor treatment to help individuals deal with anxiety or panic attacks.

Reasons are numerous including - academic pressure, poor routine, high screen time, interpersonal relationships, pressure to perform and stand out from the crowd, etc. This is treatable with psychotherapy/counselling alone in the early stages.
