Get a ENT consult done first to rule out any physical issues in nose and surrounding area. Now a days you can get allergen testing done, which includes skin allergy testing as well as blood tests both. Along with eosinophils, also test for Immunoglobulin E levels but these tests have certain prerquisites so better to consult a doctor before proceeding. Finding the allergen and trigger will help in taking precautions. Also Immunotherapy is a new therapy which can help in many cases.

Let her do steam inhalation,  2 to 3 times daily, whenever she has cold. She has to take more immunity boosting foods like honey, citrus fruits, pappaya,  berries, carrots,  leafy greens, sweet potatoes, garlic, ginger, seeds, nuts. Regular pranayam and physical exercise will be helpful. When symptoms are present, she should take tab Monteleukast 10mg one daily. Tab cetrizine 5mg one morning and one evening. ENT check up would be useful to exclude deviated nasal septum,  another condition causing recurrent cold. It is curable with a very minor procedure.

If allergic, take anti allergic medicines which may provide relief. But in chronic cases medicines stops working after some time. So you should go for some ayurvedic medicines like himalaya and if you can do anulom-vilom  pranayam for 20 min (10+10) on empty stomach both times..this is best for this problem......take care

She should consult a General Physician in her area for a physical examination. Before that she should get a Complete Health Check up package done from a reputed Laboratory and consult with the report.
