Allergic Rhinitis
I am having excessive sneezing in thr morning after waking up. I am taking montelukast sodium and levocetrizine, but as long as I take , it is fine. Once I discontinue, it starts again. How long can I take these medications. Are there any side effects? Is there any alternative.?Please Advice.

You can take these medication for long period but they are only going to treat your symptoms not the cause.. You have nasal allergies. The only treatment for this is to find the cause and prevent exposure to that causative agent.. Please observe what exposure is causing these symptoms to aggrevate and avoid those.. Till then the tablets will help. Taking steroid spray course and steam inhalation twice a day will help
