The probable reason for the dry skin may be the fat loss, as fat acts as insulator and source of natural oils and sebum to the skin. Proper hydration is required. Atleast 3-4 litres of water per day. (Considering the fact that you've no issued related to volume overload I.e. kidney and lung problems) Apply moisturizer to your skin, it will help.
