It should be muscular origin..it is in acute stage ..so do icing every 2 hrs ... not directly u can wrap ice in cloth or can use ice packs..
Kindly take rest or use lumbo sacral belt to minimise back activity..
Do not overbending activity
No wieght lifting from floor
Take otc analgesics for reduction of pain and inflammation.

Hi, Back pain without leg pain usually resolves with Physio - IFT. Once pain in controlled do back strengthening exercises. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration because dehydrated disc is more prone to injury. consult ortho doctor.
