Body temperature varies during different hours of the day. Safe side above 100 is fever in all conditions. Covid has initial presentation in form of dry cough and fever usually. No, majority of the patients with covid may be totally asymptomatic or mild fever/cough. Only 10-15 percent have moderate to severe symptoms or progression of symptoms. This depends on their immunity and co morbid conditions. Pulse oximeter is used to monitor arterial blood saturation in such patients where we need to monitor the symptoms and track the vitals.

Temperature above 99 degree (underarm)is considered as fever in any case.. it depends on individuals whether they have only fever for covid or they will not have fever and only present with some other Symptoms like nasal blockage or dry cough or vomiting or loose motions etc etc ... in case of oxygen level or Spo2.. any value above 95% is normal.. anything below is alarming.. that means the patient is having oxygen deficiency in lungs.. that also can be due to other lung conditions or it can be due to covid.. Treatment is only based on each person's symptoms.. hope it is clear..
