Blood in stool with diarrhea in an 8-year-old should not be ignored. Most common causes: * Bacterial infection (dysentery) * Intestinal infection causing inflammation * Anal fissure (less likely if no pain) * Post-infectious colitis Since she has: * Diarrhea * Passing stool after every meal * Blood in stool This suggests likely **infective dysentery**, even if she has no pain. What you should do: 1. Consult a doctor the same day. 2. Stool routine/microscopy may be needed. 3. She may require antibiotics if bacterial infection is confirmed. 4. Start ORS immediately to prevent dehydration. 5. Give light diet (rice, curd, banana, khichdi). 6. Avoid oily, spicy, and junk food. Go to hospital urgently if: * Fever high * Child becomes weak or dizzy * Large amount of blood * Severe abdominal pain * Reduced urine Do not give anti-diarrheal medicines without doctor advice. Blood in stool always needs medical evaluation, even if child looks okay. Please get her examined today.

Hello.. child needs to be examined by a paediatrician ..This could be a case of dysentry which warrants antibiotics…
Next Steps
As of now please take care of the child’s hydration with WHO ORS, or homebased liquids like coconut water/ rice water/ plain water..Strictly avoid sugary drinks or fruit juices..keep an eye on the urine output and alertness of child..please consult nearby paediatrician at the earliest
